RULES FOR GREEN RACE RODEO
Mass Start Race: This one is the every man’s challenge! We will line everyone up under the bridge. Racers will sprint through the wave, around a series of buoys and finish through a gate. There will be two divisions. Long Boat (12’ 6”) and Short Boat (9’ 6”)
Jam Session Freestyle Comp: We’ll put together a group of five paddlers and you’ll have 15 minutes to impress the judges. While scoring will be loosely based on ICF scoring we are adding a steez factor that riders should take advantage of to impress the crowd and judges.
Colossal Loop Contest: You may want to bust out the creek boat or half slice for this one. Paddlers will have an hour to, as you may have guessed, land the biggest loop.
Long Boat Attainment Race: Water level permitting we’ll release racers in one minute intervals at which time they’ll sprint downstream through the play wave and make their way upstream through the side channel. You’ll want a long boat for this one.
