Get ready for the epic grand finale of the 2023 Green River Narrows Race!  The Royal Gauntlet!  This exhibition event features the fastest racers in the world testing their skills on the manifestation of last year’s champions, Adriene Levknecht and Dane Jackson. You read that correctly, Dane and Adriene will be the key designers of the giant slalom course, aka The Royal Gauntlet, through Gorilla.  Combining their intimate knowledge of whitewater with the power of the Narrows itself, The Royal Gauntlet stands as the ultimate conclusion to skill, tenacity, and the unyielding spirit of these amazing athletes racing The Green!

Details:

Racers will get one shot to lace 3 to 5 gates through the heart of the Narrows and achieve the fastest time.  A gate touch equals a 5 second penalty, a gate miss equals a 50 second penalty.  This event is open class and will happen immediately after the last racer crosses the finish line.
